When it comes to sales outreach, there is no one magical way to do things. What works for one industry, or offering may not work for another. This is true for the Cybersecurity industry as well.
At LeadJoint, we have worked with hundreds of clients from across different countries and industries to help them generate qualified leads for their business through email outreach.
Since you are here to check out Cybersecurity sales email templates, let me tell you this from experience – there is no perfect template that will work for all prospects. Their industry, designation, culture, English proficiency, tech-savviness all play a part in deciding the best sales email template.
When we do sales outreach at scale for our clients, we start off with dozens of different sales email templates, and then slowly narrow it down to one or two based on what gets us the best results.
In this blog post, we will go through several different formats of emails that you could experiment with while seeking leads for your Cybersecurity business.

Cybersecurity Sales Email Follow-Up Templates
Typically, we send between 4-7 follow up emails for each recipient. While I can’t say with certainty how many follow-ups are ideal in the case of Cybersecurity sales emails, the number of follow-ups generally increases where recipients are ‘out in the field’ or not tech-savvy since in these cases, there is a high chance that they missed out our initial outreaches.
In my experience, such prospects also tend to be more forgiving on persistent follow-ups, and the chances of being marked as spam are lower. So, you can crank up the number of follow ups.
In each of the follow-up email, it is important to reiterate two things:
- What you offer (Cybersecurity installations in your case)
- Call-to-action (booking a meeting, for instance)
Here is one variant of the follow up email that you can use. Please note that it is recommended that you experiment with different variants of follow ups in order to find what works best.
Dear [Recipient's Name], I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to follow up on my previous message to emphasize the value our cybersecurity services can bring to your business. At [Your Company], we have a proven track record of securing businesses against cyber threats, and I believe our expertise could be of great benefit to [Recipient's Company]. I would be grateful for the opportunity to discuss how we can tailor our services to suit your specific needs. If you're available for a meeting, please let me know your preferred time, and I'll be more than happy to accommodate your schedule. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! Best regards, Anand Srinivasan CEO, Cybersecurity Company
I personally like to receive short emails. So, we also try to experiment with short follow-up emails that are under 150 words. Something like this:
Dear [Recipient's Name], Hope all's well! Just wanted to remind you about our cybersecurity services that can significantly bolster [Recipient's Company]'s security measures. We've successfully safeguarded numerous businesses like yours. A meeting would be fantastic to explore how we can tailor our solutions to your specific requirements. Simply share your preferred time, and I'll make it happen! Looking forward to connecting soon! Best regards, Anand Srinivasan CEO, Cybersecurity Company
Cybersecurity Sales Breakup Email
The last email in the follow-up series is called the breakup email where you explicitly tell them that you won’t be reaching them any further. It is important that you mention this since a lot of prospects are busy or not desperate. So, they don’t bother replying till you tell them that they won’t be hearing from you again.
Here is one variant of the breakup email that we use for our Cybersecurity clients.
Dear [Recipient's Name], I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the time you've given me so far. As much as I'd love the opportunity to collaborate with [Recipient's Company] on enhancing your cybersecurity, I understand that priorities and interests may differ. This will be my last outreach, but I truly respect your decision. If you ever change your mind or wish to explore our services in the future, please feel free to reach out. In the meantime, I'd be grateful if you could let me know whether we should keep in touch or part ways amicably. Wishing you continued success and safety. Best regards, Anand Srinivasan CEO, Cybersecurity Company
And here is an obligatory shorter version of the same breakup email:
Dear [Recipient's Name], I hope this email finds you well. This will be my final outreach, and I genuinely appreciate your consideration thus far. At [Your Company], we're committed to making businesses more secure, and I firmly believe our cybersecurity services can benefit [Recipient's Company]. If you're still interested in exploring this possibility, I'd be thrilled to schedule a meeting at your convenience. On the other hand, if our services don't align with your current goals, I completely understand. Please let me know your decision, and I'll gladly respect it. Thank you for your time, and I wish you nothing but the best. Sincerely, Anand Srinivasan CEO, Cybersecurity Company
