10+ Insurance Brokerage Cold Email Templates For You To Copy [FREE]

When it comes to sales outreach, there is no one magical way to do things. What works for one industry, or offering may not work for another. This is true for the insurance brokerage industry as well.

At LeadJoint, we have worked with hundreds of clients from across different countries and industries to help them generate qualified leads for their businesses through email outreach.

Since you are here to check out insurance brokerage cold email templates, let me tell you this from experience – there is no perfect template that will work for all prospects. Their industry, designation, culture, English proficiency, and tech-savviness all play a part in deciding the best sales email template.

When we do sales outreach at scale for our clients, we start off with dozens of different sales email templates, and then slowly narrow it down to one or two based on what gets us the best results.

Insurance Brokerage Cold Email Follow-Up Templates

Typically, we send between 4-7 follow-up emails to each recipient. While I can’t say with certainty how many follow-ups are ideal in the case of insurance brokerage cold emails, the number of follow-ups generally increases where recipients are ‘out in the field’ or not tech-savvy since in these cases, there is a high chance that they missed out our initial outreaches.

In my experience, such prospects also tend to be more forgiving on persistent follow-ups, and the chances of being marked as spam are lower. So, you can crank up the number of follow-ups.

In each of the follow-up emails, it is important to reiterate two things:

  1. What do you offer (corporate insurance in your case)
  2. Call-to-action (booking a meeting, for instance)

Here is one variant of the follow-up email that you can use. Please note that it is recommended that you experiment with different variants of follow-ups in order to find what works best.

Subject: Following Up on Corporate Insurance Discussion

Dear [HR Director’s Name],

I hope this email finds you well. I’m following up on my previous message regarding corporate insurance solutions from [Your Brokerage Name]. We have helped companies like yours protect their employees with tailored insurance plans.

I’d love to schedule a time to discuss how we can do the same for you.

Best regards,
Anand Srinivasan

I personally like to receive short emails. So, we also try to experiment with short follow-up emails that are under 150 words. Something like this:

Subject: Just Following Up – Corporate Insurance Solutions

Dear [HR Director’s Name],

I wanted to follow up on my previous email. At [Your Brokerage Name], we specialize in providing corporate insurance plans that protect businesses and their employees. We have helped companies like yours ensure peace of mind with tailored insurance solutions.

Would you be open to a brief meeting to explore how we can assist your company?

Best regards,
Anand Srinivasan

Insurance Brokerage Sales Breakup Email

The last email in the follow-up series is called the breakup email where you explicitly tell them that you won’t be reaching them any further. It is important that you mention this since a lot of prospects are busy or not desperate. So, they don’t bother replying till you tell them that they won’t be hearing from you again.

Here is one variant of the breakup email that we use for our insurance brokerage clients.

Subject: Last Attempt – Corporate Insurance Solutions

Dear [HR Director’s Name],

I’ve reached out a few times to discuss how we can help your company with corporate insurance, but I haven’t heard back. This will be my last attempt. If you’re interested, I’d love to schedule a brief meeting.

If not, no worries—just let me know either way so I don’t keep bothering you.

Best regards,
Anand Srinivasan

And here is an obligatory shorter version of the same breakup email:

Subject: Final Follow-Up – Corporate Insurance

Dear [HR Director’s Name],

I wanted to reach out one last time to see if you’re interested in discussing corporate insurance solutions. I’ve reached out a couple of times, and this will be my last follow-up. If you’d like to chat, let’s set up a quick meeting.

If not, I’d appreciate a quick reply to let me know.

Best,
Anand Srinivasan

How to maximize Insurance Brokerage lead generation

Email content is just one part of the puzzle. There are a lot of other things that you need to get right in order to get the highest quality leads. This includes ensuring high email deliverability, reaching the right decision-maker, and reaching them at the right time and day.

The best way to ensure you get the highest quality leads consistently is to find the right tools.
